The University of Windsor’s Faculty of Engineering offered its first professional development program in energy management in November 2009 and will soon announce spring 2010 course dates.
The Advanced Professional Certificate in Energy Management program teaches corporate and energy managers to develop plans to improve the energy efficiency of their organization. Rupp Carriveau, Associate Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Windsor, developed the program with industry experts, funded by a $230,000 grant from the Ontario Power Authority (OPA).
