CDM Project Development in China, China National Petroleum Commission (CNPC) and PetroChina

The Delphi Group was responsible for a series of activities including:
- developing and delivering a three day in-depth training session on CDM that focused on the CDM Project Cycle including how to develop CDM projects, gain Host Country Approval, establish project baselines, undertake verification and certification and how to attract financing;
- assisting Chinese Project Proponents from CNCP and PetroChina assess six different potential CDM projects that reduced GHGs by enhancing the efficiency of owned refineries, captured fugitive emissions of CH4 in drilling, transportation and processing operations, and sequestered waste CO2 streams to enhance oil recovery; and
- prioritizing the potential projects for feasibilities assessments.
