The candidate should also have a strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental and regulatory developments, including the Clean Air Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and other laws and regulations applicable to resource management.
We will consider individuals possessing broad-based experience with California’s energy and industrial infrastructure, permitting/entitlement, and environmental management systems. Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities, experience in marketing and business development, supervisory and mentoring skills, recognized technical and academic credentials, and strong writing and communication skills.
Business development responsibilities include:
* Develop and expanded client base in the energy/industrial market
* Generate new projects with existing clients
* Lead proposal efforts and interviews
* Participate in appropriate professional associations and conferences
Requirements: The qualified candidate will have 10-15 years of increasingly responsible experience in consulting and/or in a public agency. Requires at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning or environmental science, resource management or other related field. A Master’s or other advanced degree is highly desirable.
